Our third set of ten includes several firsts. First track with three commentors (Daredevil), first non-MST3K commentor (Rich Kyanka in Troll 2), and first track produced for a television show (Lost). Film selection continues to improve with only one film so awful that it defies mockery (The Wicker Man). Mike and his band of Merry Co-Riffers continue to amaze with several films that should have been so awful as to defy mockery, including Troll 2, Episode II, and Battlefield Earth. I say this a lot, but it seems to me that it would be relatively easy to mock movies that are merely mediocre and pleasantly goofy. (Indeed, my two favorite films from this segment, Daredevil and Aeon Flux, fall into that category.) That they could make the legendary awfulness of Battlefield Earth not just tolerable, but actually enjoyable is a testament to their skill.
