While packing for their journey, Edward and his boon companion, Soapy, are visited by Primatene, a garden-variety wizard who foists a powerful Token and a rather shopworn Quest on our reluctant Pudges.

Thoughts:

It's time to recall those endless early chapters in which Gandalf huddled by the fire with Frodo to regale him with harrowing tales of his own impending doom. Gandalf's analog Primatene attempts something like that here, but keeps trying to lessen the impact with little success.
