Another Steaming Chunk of the Seventies, Coming Right Up

Joel was bad, so the others took his chair away.Welcome, won't you?

Well, we didn't have long to wait, did we? J. Elvis has once again graced the Cinematic Titanic Email Club with news. No, it's not a release date. It's better than a release date. It's a trailer for the next release. And it's not The Wasp Woman.

What's that you say? You want to know what film it is? Well, J. Elvis said it's for CT Email Club eyes only until next Tuesday, so I'm probably not supposed to tell you. I guess people who didn't get the email this evening will just have to wait until then.

Sorry. Got a little something stuck in my throat there.

Something else that both J. Elvis and RAD (a.k.a. "Total Husband Ron") want you to to know is that Cinematic Titanic will reprise their wildly popular live riffing of The Wasp Woman at the LA Film Festival on June 21, 2008. Here's hoping that they visit the San Francisco Bay Area on the next leg of their world riffing tour.

And now, here's the full text of J. Elvis' missive, behind the cut:

Hi, everyone!

Well, these are heady times here at Cinematic Titanic. Last week, we successfully shot three new episodes of the show and I'd be lying if I said we weren't pretty darned pleased with ourselves. We'll be posting a trailer for our next release on Tuesday for the public, but we wanted to give you, our loyal e-mail club, legion of the still-subscribed, a sneak peak.

We'll keep you posted on the official release of the DVD (and download), but it should be mid-June. After that we plan to release shows at six-week intervals for the foreseeable future.

In the meantime, don't forget our first born "The Oozing Skull" is now available as a download here for only $9.99! Time is running out to be truly considered an early adopter of CT.

We've been invited by the LA Film Festival to perform live at the Ford Amphitheater on June 21st. We're thrilled to be able to play this beautiful venue (1,241 seats in a beautiful outdoor setting in the Hollywood Hills).

We'll be riffing live to Roger Corman's "The Wasp Woman" which we premiered last month in Dallas to reviews like the following:

"They performed to the tune of Roger Corman's The Wasp Woman, and folks, I've got to tell you, I haven't laughed that hard (or that often) in a long time. The experience of being in the theater while these wiseacres are doing their thing is something I will treasure always."

Tickets for individual events go on sale June 2nd.

That's all for now. Enjoy the trailer!

Note: I had originally deleted the link and password to the trailer, but now that Wired has given the game away, attempting to maintain the illusion of confidentiality seems a bit pointless.
