Well, Some of Them Anyway....

Are those oddly rendered face-like lumps supposed to belong to Bill and Kevin?Welcome, won't you?

Rifftrax dips its toes back into the DVD market with the recently announced The Best of Rifftrax Shorts, featuring Down and Out, Patriotism, Buying Food, Right or Wrong, Drugs Are Like That, Skipper Learns a Lesson, The Trouble with Women, and It Must be the Neighbors. Since they've already released those as $0.99 VODs, they'll throw in a bonus DVD-exclusive titled Shake Hands With Danger, all for the low, low price of $14.99.

Is it a good deal? Well, as far as I'm concerned, anything that calls itself The Best of Rifftrax Shorts but doesn't include Safety: Harm Hides at Home or One Got Fat isn't worthy of the title, but that's just me. Also, the eight previously released shorts would only come to $7.92 at download prices, so the extra $7.07 plus tax and whatever they charge for shipping is for the exclusive short and the format. And since I could take or leave the format and I've already purchased the previous eight, pretty much the entire purchase price is going towards that one expensive exclusive short. Yes, I'm going to buy it, because I'm a completionist. Those of you who aren't have the above to consider. Now accepting pre-orders. Starts shipping on Thanksgiving.
